Jon Heder Will Yet Again Be Playing Jon Heder (But with Superpowers) in "Loudermilk"

An original idea from the Heder brothers (Jon, his identical twin brother Dan and their older brother Doug), Loudermilk centers on a Napoleon Dynamite-like goofball who becomes contaminated with a substance that gives him what might arguably be considered superpowers. No word yet on whether he’ll also receive num-chuck skills.

Hired to rewrite and direct the project is Craig Zobel, the co-writer/director of the critically acclaimed festival hit Great World of Sound and co-founder of the popular comedy site HomestarRunner.com. Jon Heder will star.

This may be speaking far too preemptively, but as of now, my interest in this project has already crossed the line from being "I’ll wait for a trailer" to "Please God, no more." Even as a fan of Napoleon Dynamite, there’s only so much of Jon Heder’s one-note schtick I can take. It’s actually come to the point where his characters no longer need descriptions. The words "Napoleon Dynamite" summarize every single character he’s ever portrayed. Although now, you can lengthen that description to "Napoleon Dynamite with superpowers." Oh goody, what a wacky combination!
