Somehow I'm not surprised that the Coen's are going back to their well-honed comedy style after the dark and weighty No Country for Old Men. Futurama Beast with a BIllion Backs Cover"Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs" Gets a Trailer

The first trailer for the next Futurama DVD film, The Beast with a Billion Backs, hit the web this week, and  as expected it does a decent job of drumming up excitement for the film's release next month. There aren't any great standout gags in this trailer, but at least we finally get to see a bit of David Cross's titular Beast. Leela gets the best line of the trailer: "Those aren't tentacles, they're genticles!" The film hits DVD on June 24, 2008. Read more

Mitch HurwitzArrested Development Creator Developing Fox Animated Show, "Sit Down, Shut Up"

Arrested Development mastermind Mitch Hurwitz is returning to Fox with an animated adaptation of live-action Australian sitcom, Sit Down, Shut Up. As described by Variety, "[the show] revolves around the lives of seven staff members of a dysfunctional high school in a small northeastern fishing town." Hurwitz will be exec producing and writing for the series. Read more

Wall-E PosterFinal "Wall-E" Trailer Will Make You Feel Like A Kid Again

It's sort of shocking how consistently great Pixar can be. Sure, Cars was a bit of a misstep, but it was still better than most of the animated films that come out of Dreamworks and other competitors.
